If you’re like me, you live the great state of Texas, which means you see any and all types of weather. In the past few months, we’ve seen an unprecedented ice/snow storm, thunderstorms that have produced large hail, strong winds, a few tornado sightings, and of course the beautiful 75 degree afternoon we all long for.
As we know, any and all of this unknown weather can cause challenges unforeseen to you as a homeowner. For instance, a thunderstorm rolls through your city/neighborhood and with it produces a hail storm. You run outside to check on the damage and think, “Well, I don’t see any holes, vents knocked around, or gutters dangling off my roof. I think I’m good to go!”
Of course, this can absolutely be the case.
But more times than not, your roof and your home in general has sustained enough damage to warrant a professional inspection.
If, at the very least, you want peace of mind that your roof is in good condition, it is wise as a homeowner to get a professional’s opinion. After all, it’s much easier (and less stressful) to have someone walk around your roof than yourself.
Worst case scenario, damage is found, a claim is filed with your insurance, and you end up getting a brand new roof for a huge discount (75-90% off). How can you pass this up?
